the marginalised

 When we do not fit the norms of the society we live in, we face extra challenges beyond the Struggle of Life that we all share. Not fitting in can be lonely, and people risk being blamed, scapegoated and even dehumanised. It doesn’t have to be like this and things do change. As a middle-aged gay man in London in 2022 - life is easy compared with being a teenager when it felt  like a wall. I don’t want anybody else to feel like that. Rather than marginalise people, we can learn what is wrong with our societal structures- if the systems that people have made don’t fit, then let’s change them…
